What is SWIR good for?

Short wave infrared (SWIR) has a clear demand background in the application fields of  industrial detection, military night vision, photoelectric countermeasure and so on.

Compared with visible light imaging, short wave infrared imaging is less affected by atmospheric scattering, has stronger ability to penetrate fog, haze, smoke and dust, and has a longer effective detection distance.
